What stays on your computer
Your fans, your tips, your earnings, your scenes and whatever you upload to them are saved on your computer, not on our servers. Your stream key lives in Onda Mux’s memory while it uses it: it is never written to a file or a log.
What the Onda Mux server receives
The first time you open Onda Mux, the app registers with our server using a random ID for that installation. It then tells it which accounts you have connected: your user ID or your room name on each platform. We use this to give you access to Onda Mux’s streaming servers and to look after the service. It never receives your passwords or your messages.
If you stream through Onda Mux’s servers
If you choose in Settings to send your stream through Onda Mux’s servers, each room’s key travels encrypted to the server that distributes your stream. There it lives only in memory, never in a file or a log, and it is deleted when you finish. Streaming straight to your room, which is the default, your key never leaves your computer.
When you write to us
If you send us feedback from Onda Mux, we receive what you write and, if you choose, a technical report on how the app was doing, which you can read before sending it.
What this site measures
To know how many people visit and where they come from, this site stores a random ID in your browser and, for 30 days, the campaign details you arrived with (such as utm_source). We measure visits, clicks on its buttons, how far you scroll and how long you stay. We don’t use Google Analytics or social media pixels.
